Beryl The Third

Beryl the Third is a contemporary redesign of Beano Studio's iconic Beryl the Peril, which won a yellow D&AD New Bloods pencil in 2018.

​

Instead of reskinning the character, I made Beryl trans-generational, just as bold as her namesake from the 50's. The animation shows this relationship with her grandmother and their timeless attitude to rebel.
